Flat roads, miles of openess, Emporia Ks

Back in action
Aug 27, 2007 | CommentHi Folks. Back in the fold after years of not riding. Got the bike overhauled, and went out today for the first time in a long time. My beer belly got in the way a little, but other than that, the ride went well.
I quit smoking about 5 days ago and my lungs are open! YAY! my first hard ride was a windy day and i only did 10 miles with my buddy. It was a hard hilly ten miles, but i felt great.

I am in the US Navy, and my bike is at the house in VA Beach, VA. I am currently deployed overseas. i am looking for someone to ride with in the hamptons roads area when i return home at the end of the year. i am trying to get my wife to ride with me but i have yet to get her rolling. how is everyone doing?
